This is a decent enough superhero movie that adds to the huge Marvel Universe. I truly liked this movie and was highly entertained 🙂 . I know I have said before that some films feel like they throw you straight into the action but this one truly does. It throws you in, brings you back to the beginning then takes you back to the start before it continues. I liked this as it keep me very entertained, I liked how the situation built and the overall story was crafted well. Great cast in this film such as Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins 😀 . There are nice touches of humour in this film along with the dramatic battles and decent CGI 😛 . My favourite funny moment has to be the “Xena, Jackie Chan and Robin Hood” quote 😛 . The character of Jane Foster was a decent character type (than the typical superhero love interest), she was likable and the relationship was believable. Also my favourite part in this movie is Thor trying to get his Hammer back 🙂 A great story for those who are a fan of Thor, a fan of the Marvel Universe and will need to see this film before Avengers Assemble 🙂 Enjoy 😀
This is an awesome movie that will excite any Marvel Fan or anyone looking for a decent film to watch 😛 . You are thrown into the action / story straightaway and you stay captivated in the ever unfolding plot! What I loved about this movie was the connections to all the previous Marvel films making it great (nostalgic) to see other superheroes. The narrative (especially near the end battle) was shocking but awesome and I can’t wait to see how the Avengers will recover 😀 ! The two leading characters Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) were great plus I liked the character developments (they had flaws 😛 ). The battle between the two sides was climatic, action paced and really entertaining 🙂 . There are plenty of funny moments in this film along with the dramatic plots mostly from the side characters like Ant Man or Bucky Vs Falcon 😛 . Each of the other superheroes like Ant Man or Spiderman where given a good amount of screen time and felt like they belonged in this film (didn’t feel out of place). Yes the film is really long and maybe the “true villain” may not be as strong as previous ones but it works well 🙂 . A highly enjoyable film that is amazing 😀 Enjoy 😀 !
This was the first of the Avenger films where all our favourite (and popular) superheroes got together! It is an awesome film 😀 ! The narrative is great, action packed, thoughtful, we see the character’s develop and it is full of wit. I loved the main characters (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye) and how they reacted to each other. For example, the way the Hulk just punched randomly (won’t spoil) and the battle with Loki 😛 . Even though the humour is great in this film it is quite well balanced. The fights scenes and dangers are plentiful and pretty interesting 🙂 . I was not bored in this film and I would happily watch again 🙂 . The villain Loki is a popular choice (probably the best villain from the Marvel Movie Franchise) and Tom Hiddleston plays a great part 😀 . There is a cleverly crafted turning point in this film (that brings everyone together) with a death that is surprising! This is a fantastic movie that it definitely better than the Age of Ultron Film 😛 . Seriously recommend if you love Marvel 😀 Enjoy 🙂 !
This is simply one awesome movie 😀 ! Simply brilliant, hilarious and well casted! Indeed those who are easily offended may not enjoy this movie that much but personally I think it complemented the narrative 🙂 . The story is extremely interesting and the references to previous films/modern references are brilliant! I loved the constant jokes (especially the X-Men Studio one 😛 ) . The bad guys was convincing. The narration from Ryan Reynolds character (who was fantastic as Deadpool) was refreshing and entertaining (constantly breaking the forth wall). This is a unique anti-hero movie that has great action shots (I loved the beginning montage), an amazing narrative (for both boys and girls 😛 ) and is simply a movie made for the fans!! Even the clip after the credits was hilarious (for us true Marvel fans 😛 )! I can’t pick a favourite scene because I loved the entire movie and I am probably not giving it enough credit!! If you are a fan of anything superhero (or anti -hero 😛 ) than this is for you! Enjoy 😀 !!
I was looking forward to this contemporary, re-imagining version of the famous Marvel superhero team but I am disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, it was entertaining enough but that was really just the first half. The main characters Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Michael B. Jordan (Human Torch), Kate Mara (Invisible Woman), Jamie Bell (The Thing) and Toby Kebbell (Victor Von Doom) gave a new take on the characters that I liked but I wish we could have seen more depth. The beginning has a good set up, a unique look at their (Mr. Fantastic and The Thing) beginnings and I really liked how they got their powers 😀 . How the ending seems rushed like they had forgotten the bad guy and gave us a “danger” and resolution in what felt like the last 30 minutes 😛 . A shame but this is definitely not one of my favourite films. Enjoy 🙂 .
Not going to lie, I have not really heard of Ant-Man before and was unsure how much I was going to like this film. However, because it is Marvel…I gave it a go and it was amazing 🙂 ! This was so much better than I thought it would be! The cast was chosen wonderfully, Michael Douglas (Dr. Hank Pym) , Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Evangeline Lilly (Hope van Dyne) ! Plus that little girl (Cassie Lang played by Abby Ryder Fortson) was adorable 🙂 . The humour is so strong in this film and really helped the overall mood. The quality of the action with the comedy (which is the best humour of Marvel so far ) worked well keeping the audience (you) entertained throughout. The CGI is good (expected of Marvel) and the hints to previous films (and a nice acknowledgement to Avengers) worked. Overall a great addition to the Marvel films and really enjoyable. I recommend you watch this if your planning to watch anymore new Marvel movies :). Enjoy 😀 !
This is the newest film to the Marvel Avengers series and it is a pretty decent one 🙂 Maybe Avengers Assemble might have beaten it but personally, it still keeps up the standard! They never dropped in action or the story even when the characters weren’t fighting. There were plenty of surprises and had nice touches of humour throughout. Pietro Maximoff. He was good, a good adaption but quite honestly I couldn’t help but compared him to the Xmen version. They were too close together as films (Xmen 2014) and I tried really hard not to but I did prefer the Peter from Xmen. The good side though, they felt like completely different characters 😛 ! I really liked Wanda and that they had accents (other than American 😛 ). The romance in this film from certain characters was adorable (trying not to spoil 😛 ). And finally we are given more depth for Hawkeye and Black Widow! A back story and more to them then fighting! Yay, better late than never 😛 ! A very good film worth a watch :P! Enjoy 😀 !!

This is the newest addition to the Disney Classics so far and this time it’s based off Marvel! I loved this film! It was really fun and had superheroes in it 🙂 ! I had worried that this film would not surpass the amazing success they had with Frozen but Disney has created lovable characters and a well structured narrative. Baymax was my favourite character who was a fresh addition to the Disney family! The relationship between Hiro and Baymax is a adorable and I liked the fact we had powerful girls in this group! Plenty of humour, touching moments and deserves to be in the top Classics. It’s a film that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike 🙂 ! So if you want to watch a Disney-fied Marvel comic, humour, robots, supervillains and Baymax then this is the film for you!! Enjoy!!
I did not know what I expected from this unknown Marvel movie (as I never read the comic, anything I learnt from Marvel comics is from films and cartoons :P). So, My sister and I decided to give this film a shot. It was Amazing 🙂 ! I loved the 1980’s songs and reference that kept being used throughout. The narrative was dramatic, intense, linked well with the Marvel Universe and had me begging for more! My favourite character was Groot and some of the scenes where spectacular (without spoiling anything 😛 ). I have never laughed so hard for a Marvel Movie before and it has become my favourite (of the Marvel films) ! I seriously recommend this film!! Enjoy!
