Lone Survivor (2013)
Genre: Action, Biography, Drama
This movie is alright especially for those who love biographical war movies 🙂 . Personally, for me I can’t say it was anything other than being alright, nothing really wrong with it and nothing really good either. I was kept entertained throughout plus some moments were quite shocking and captivating. This is a definitely good war movie with the brutality, realistic moments, plenty of gun fire, the odd explosion and the tension between the Americans and Afghanistan’s. The set was good, the costumes were effective, and the main soldier characters were likable 🙂 . The actors who played them (Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch and Ben Foster) portrayed them well and you liked them all. Plus the deaths that happen in this film (the deaths of likable people not the unlikable 😛 ) were touching and dramatic. Those moments I did like and I loved the tension as people try to find them and the complications the “character” encounters 🙂 . However, try as it might it still isn’t the most entertaining movie and it’s nothing to rave about. It had predictability in it and some uninteresting sections. Though I was not entirely bored, as I mentioned earlier, but this definitely not the best war film you will ever see. I don’t think I will watch this again and probably won’t remember it. Enjoy 🙂
I give this film 3 Stars out of 5!
