Passengers (2016)
Genre: Adventure, Drama, Romance, Sci-Fi
This is a well crafted sci-fi movie that can keep most captivated with its interesting storyline. The premise is that two characters wake too early on a spaceship and that is intriguing on its own but with the dramatic action and edge of your seat moments it becomes unique 😛 . I loved the fact that this was as unpredictable as expected and that I was unsure who would make it or how it would end 😀 . The two lead characters Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) and Aurora Lane (Jennifer Lawrence) were absolutely stunning 😀 ! Their chemistry was believable and their acting superb. I loved Chris at the beginning when he realises he has woken too early and loved Jennifer when she discovers the truth (can’t say what truth as that would spoil the whole thing! 😛 ). The visuals are pretty good and the sense of “things worse to come” builds nicely throughout the movie 🙂 . I loved this for its romance and (kind of) suspense. Although, as much as “Passengers” kept me entertained, I was disappointed. It was such a good film that I was expecting a brilliant ending that would match the rest of the film. Don’t get me wrong the ending is good and fitting, but it was missing something and I’m not sure what that was. Overall, a decent movie that you can enjoy but I’m unsure if you’d want to watch it more than once 😛 . Enjoy 🙂
I give this film 4 Stars out of 5!
Plus Merry Christmas 😀
