A Street Cat Named Bob (2016)
Genre: Biography, Comedy, Drama
The true life story based off the bestselling book “A Street Cat Named Bob” . This is a fairly entertaining movie for those who like biography movies, heart warming real life troubles or those who simply loves cat 😀 . The cat is fabulous in this movie and is played by the real Bob which gives this film a wonderful sense of authenticity 🙂 . Every scene that cat was in was spectacular and had you finding him either cute or funny. I loved the relationship and surprising survival between James and Bob. Luke Treadaway’s performance of James Bowen was amazing 😀 . I believed him throughout, felt for him the entire way through and seemed very authentic. His scenes alone were quite good and I felt for him when he had to deal with those horrible situations. There are some awkward moments in this film that make you feel sorrier for the main character and had some touching moments. Even through the rough parts of this movie and the exploration of the homeless situation it ends off quite heart warming 🙂 . Also I loved the cameo of the real James Bowen and the pictures in the end credits 😀 . The downside to this movie is that it is a bit too long and I found some of the scenes with Betty (Ruta Gedmintas) a little unnecessary. Though I get why they are they (it is base off real life). Overall, a decent enough movie that is worth at least one watch. Enjoy 😀
I give this film 4 Stars out of 5!
