The Legend of Tarzan

The Legend of Tarzan (2016)

Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama

I have always liked the story of Tarzan and thought none could ever match the Disney version back in 1999. However, I was happily proven wrong with this new film 😀 !! They are different  so you don’t need to compare and I liked that this story is beyond the tale we are all familiar with. I really enjoyed how they showed us the world 8 years on from “Tarzan” but they managed to tell both stories using flashbacks (which flowed well and didn’t seem obvious 😛 ). Alexander Skarsgård was fantastic as Tarzan and created a realistic portal of the character (as much as you can). I loved Margot Robbie as Jane who equally commands the screen and had great chemistry with Tarzan (believable relationship 🙂 ). However, I was a little surprised that they made Jane “American” (as I am so used to her being English) but I forgive it because I really loved they way she acted and looked 🙂 . Samuel L. Jackson was also good and Christoph Waltz creates another brilliant villain (might be even better than his role in Spectre 😛 ). The CGI is great in this film with the animals and especially Tarzan’s hands! Great action, a captivating tale and great ending. A movie that I seriously recommend and would happily watch again :D. Enjoy 😀

I give this film 5 Stars out of 5!
