Shrek

Shrek (2001)

Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family Film

Ever since this film was first shown in 2001 it has become quite the animation Classic πŸ˜› . The franchise started off with this movie and you can see straightaway why this film captures imaginations πŸ™‚ . The narrative is charming as it twists the idea of the fairytale while keeping the overall feel of one. Β The characters are lovable, my personal favourite is Shrek himself and Donkey is a good comic relief yet valuable character. The cast for this film is great (Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy) and the animation is still good even now πŸ˜› . The villain is good, the romance is sweet and unique (my favourite thing about this film is the romance) and the songs are epic πŸ˜› . I would recommend this movie just for the group end song alone πŸ˜› . The end scene is emotional, really good narrative and is one of the best scene though the “break free from tower” scene is also pretty good πŸ™‚ . Great background character (Gingy is my favourite πŸ™‚ ).Β  A really great animation that is definitely worth the watch πŸ˜€ . Enjoy πŸ™‚

I give this film 5 Stars out of 5!

The greatest fairy tale never told.
