The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden (1993)

Genre: Drama, Family Film, Fantasy

This is a wonderful film that I have enjoyed since childhood πŸ™‚ . The narrative is really good, the film is heart-warming and has moments that are touching. These moments could not have been done as well if it wasn’t for the cast in this film! Especially the children actors; Kate Maberly, Heydon Prowse and Andrew Knott. They may not be the best in the world but they made the characters come alive πŸ™‚ ! The setting / costumes design within this film is decent / sometimes really quite good. Plus the garden is what you imagine it should look like (from all the descriptions and build up towards it πŸ˜› ). I liked the hint of magic throughout as it made the film stand out that little bit more. The end section and the scene where they attempted “magic” (sorry spoilers πŸ˜› ) are my favourite scenes πŸ™‚ . A timeless classic, great for the entire family and I recommend you watch πŸ™‚ Enjoy πŸ˜€ !

I give this film 5 Stars out of 5!

A garden. I've stolen a garden.
