Black Death

Black Death (2010)

Genre: Action, Drama, Horror

I thought this movie looked good and maybe to some people it is a fantastic hidden gem. But for me that gem is still hidden. I got bored by this film. Not all the way through but enough of it that I got confused with what was happening, what the narrative was, I felt nothing for the characters and almost gave up by the end of it. The actors chosen for this film played their roles wonderfully and I credit the set designers because the feel of the film did make me believe it was set in Medieval England 🙂 . There was a point in the film where I thought there was no hope for the characters at all and they were going to display every way you could have killed a man in the 1400. Though, the best section was the ending. That last 5 minutes was captivating, intriguing, interesting and I wanted to know more after the twist 🙂 . But it was the last 5 minutes. I wished they had started with that instead and I think that could have created a completely different but better film. Had promise but fails to deliver.

I give this film 1 star out of 5!

In an age of darkness one man will face the ultimate battle against evil.
