I will start with the good things about this film first. It had a passable narrative which had potential of a good idea, and had a nice character arc by the time the film ended. However, the animation graphics were really bad. At times they were passable but they were outweighed by the horrible animation moments 😛 . When I first watched it back in 2004 it didn’t seem so bad but now I am shocked especially when you compare to films made around the same era (Finding Nemo) . The film had some really cheesy moments which affected the narrative, character and especially the stereotypical villain! I did like the main characters (the ones from Gaya) though Alanta and Boo where really annoying and irritating. Overall, an alright film with an entertaining enough plot but not one of the best. I suggest watching this once as watching it again ruins your memories of it 😛 ! Enjoy 🙂 !!
This is the newest film to the Marvel Avengers series and it is a pretty decent one 🙂 Maybe Avengers Assemble might have beaten it but personally, it still keeps up the standard! They never dropped in action or the story even when the characters weren’t fighting. There were plenty of surprises and had nice touches of humour throughout. Pietro Maximoff. He was good, a good adaption but quite honestly I couldn’t help but compared him to the Xmen version. They were too close together as films (Xmen 2014) and I tried really hard not to but I did prefer the Peter from Xmen. The good side though, they felt like completely different characters 😛 ! I really liked Wanda and that they had accents (other than American 😛 ). The romance in this film from certain characters was adorable (trying not to spoil 😛 ). And finally we are given more depth for Hawkeye and Black Widow! A back story and more to them then fighting! Yay, better late than never 😛 ! A very good film worth a watch :P! Enjoy 😀 !!

This has to be one of those Disney Classics that you automatically associate with Disney 🙂 It is a brilliant movie full of magic, wonder and lots of nostalgia for the old Disney films! It is a really good adaption of James Barry’s book of Peter Pan and no matter how many times I watch this film, I am still entertained 🙂 . I love Tinkerbell as a character here as she is her true self, not like in the recent Tinkerbell movies where she is so nice and sweet. I prefer her like this where she is still good but still very naughty 😛 ! Captain Hook is a good villain and Peter Pan of course, is memorable. The songs are ok, not the best compared to all the Disney movies. The overall story is very good though the section with the Indians could be a little offensive. You have to forgive it for the era it was created in as the film is overall entertaining 🙂 ! A good film with a classic story 🙂 Enjoy 🙂 !

A Classic animation from my childhood that I have loved ever since 🙂 ! First off, it is not Disney 😛 It is not factual (even though based off a real event) and it is very fictional but it does really work 🙂 . It is a wonderful tale that is gripping, entertaining, delightful and just simply brilliant! The characters are great and the romance in this film is obvious but not so much in your face. It was done well 😛 . This film is a musical as well which you expect in an animation like this. The songs are all good, catchy and will stick with you forever. Literally, all I had to do was simply mention the name and half the girls I knew began to belt out the tunes 😛 ! The beginning scene was the best as it gave a good opening to how the film would continue on. Slightly dark, plenty of magic and a thrilling animation 🙂 ! This is a film that I recommend as it is a story that will stay with you, even if it’s fiction 😛 ! Enjoy 🙂
First off, this is a great film for children 🙂 . The songs are good and catchy though some are 10 times better than others for example, “Let me be your wings” is better than “Marry the Mole”. Thumbelina, the character, had some major flaws. She kept breaking character which really contradicted what she had said a few seconds before. For example. she danced to songs then acted high and mighty a second later (like she never danced at all). The character of the Swallow simply irritated me. I understood why he was there, he was just simply too cheesy. The entire film had a sprinkling of cheesy all over it 😛 . Though I did really like the scene with the Prince and the frozen lake (if that isn’t spoiling anything 😛 ). The narrative was overall ok and the ending was cute. It is a generally alright film but there are better animations out there. Enjoy 🙂
This film was so promising but it failed to deliver. It is a horror, I can’t argue with that, but I was not scared at all. There were “jumpy” moments, if you could call them that, but I wasn’t scared. The characters were so annoying by the end of the film. They were ok at the beginning, when we were being introduced, but they were so stupid in the narrative. They kept doing stuff which you wanted to shout at them for falling for a stupid trap or not following their own advice. It started well, with the beginning creating a good set up for a horror but then got predictable in middle and silly. It became so predictable with the fact if a character had a camera they were surviving the next trail and it continued in that vein. They clash with the Egyptology narrative with suggesting one myth then changing it later in the film. Graphics were not brilliant. It ended terribly especially with the judging error. They suggested all got judged but missed one character completely. A rather boring horror that I would suggest avoiding. But if you’re in the mood for a bad horror then enjoy 🙂 .
For me this film about a girl wanting to make her own path / changing her fate is fantastic! I love it and I know it has been given some negative reviews from others but it deserves better 🙂 . The animation is great, the comedy for this film hilarious and the narrative is good. I liked that this narrative was about family, magic and bears rather than the typical love stories (involving a prince of some kind). Merida’s personality is wonderful and each character in the film is funny / likable. Mor’du was a impressive bear – quite fearsome and some of the best scenes where with this character. I really liked the magic element of this film and the scenery was amazing (for animation) 😛 . Also trying not to spoil anything but the three boys were simply adorable part way through this film (when you watch it you will know what I mean 😛 ! ) A really good film, great for the entire family, that I recommend you watch 😛 ! Enjoy 😀 !
This is a hilarious film suited to teens and women 🙂 . The film was 10 times better than I had imagined it to be when I first went to see this film and the acting of the entire cast was sublime! The humour was not over the top because there was a sense of reality added to the mix by using pop culture references and the “Social Media” jokes 😛 ! The narrative wasn’t just about finding a boy/beating the mean girls as I had originally thought. It was about labels and cyber bullies which was done perfectly that you felt for the characters but it wasn’t shoved in your face. This is a enjoyable film, that is entertaining with the humour and narrative which I highly recommend!! It’s a film I would happily watch again!! Enjoy 🙂 !!
The beginning of this film was good, intriguing and generally a good set up to a Sci-Fi film 🙂 . The pacing of the film was ok and there was a good amount of information for the introduction of the characters but it there was a moment when it all went downhill for me. There was a point in the film where the director asked us, as the audience, to think outside the box. A complicated thought provoking quick answer shoved in the “black hole” scene which made the film strange. It wasn’t need in my opinion. It made it feel like a completely different film when I was quite content before it. The character of Murphy annoyed me. I really liked her as a child, Mackenzie Foy was really good 🙂 . However, the character simply got annoying in the middle section with me not understand how she couldn’t accept what Cooper did. I mean everyone else understood but she still acted like a spoilt child. Surely someone explained it to her in the film? To be fair, the character got better near the end but the middle was simply annoying. A film you should see once in your life but not the best. Enjoy 🙂 !!
