John Carter (2012)

Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Disney

This film was not as bad as I thought it would be with all the bad reviews I had heard about it πŸ™‚ . The story line was confusing at the start, not confusing so that you could not follow it but more confusing in the way you don’t know where the film is planning to take you. It doesn’t last for long and then your thrown into the mysterious planet full of creatures and damsels in distress. The overall tale was good. It continued in the vein that it had wanted to go in but I cannot say I was captivated the entire way through. The romance element was predictable and once the two of them had met the predictability began to rise even more. I did like the battle with the contrasting scene of him battling on the new planet and we see him back home finding his “family”. The ending was the best section πŸ™‚ . If you like fantasy / different planet worlds with monsters than this is for you. Enjoy πŸ™‚ .

I give this film 3.5 Stars out of 5!
