U-571

U-571(2000)

Genre: Action, War

I don’t know what I was expecting from this war film about the Enigma machine and submarines but I suppose I got it with this film. There was a lot of action, drama, tension and big explosions. It was a interesting narrative, it did keep me entertained and I was pleased that the German soldiers spoke German šŸ˜› (Too many War films were the German soldiers speak with a English/American accent and never utter a word of their own language :P). It is loosely based of history as I have heard there were a lot of historical inaccuracies but when you watch it I don’t think it mattered too much. You get lost in this dramatic submarine tale and the acting of Matthew McConaughey is good šŸ™‚ Though look out of Jon Bon Jovi as I almost missed him because I was too lost in the tale šŸ˜›

I give this film 3 Stars out of 5!

The Germans must never suspect we have the Enigma.
